Tourists entering the UAE, will now receive a 60-day visa on arrival visa beginning next month. Earlier it was a 30-day visa on arrival, once expired a grace period of nine days were allowed to renew your visa or face fines.

Before the first renewal expires, visitors and tourists can submit an application for the second renewal. The cost of renewal is Dhs600.

According to the new regulations, those who overstay their visas but do not renew must pay a fine of Dhs100 each day beginning 10 days after the visa’s expiration.
